Feeding, playtime, and lots of love for your pets! If I'm watching your dog(s) if requested I can take them for a walk daily. For cats, though they typically do their own thing, I will make a valid attempt multiple times a day to show it affection and interaction with toys or simple active attention. I will also provide daily communications about your pet and photos if you'd like, so you dont feel like you're too far away!
With simple house sitting, I will typically offer mail collection, plant watering if applicable, and keeping your home safe. I will also keep to only the living area and kitchen and whatever sleeping arrangement we've agreed on if you prefer I stay at the house or just check in for the day. Each stay can be tailored to your preferable requirements.I am a very clean person, and promise to leave you home as clean or cleaner than when I arrived. I also promise to stay respectful to your neighbors and all property within the area. I will not invite or bring anyone else to your home during my stay!
I do have experience with larger and even some slightly more aggressive breeds of dogs, and I can handle most dog walks. I'm strong enought to contain an excited dog, but for all scenarios and safety reasons for your pet and myself, I carry an insurance policy. I may decline certain tasks if the pet is particularily unfriendly to other pets. My goal is and always will be the safety of your pet as well as other owners pets in the park or streets.
For the safety and comfort of keeping your pet stress-free during your absence, I offer to come stay the night at the pets residence. I will always fully respect your belongings and property, as maintaining your trust is a huge element of my business. Staying with your pets where they live minimizes a pets stress and makes them feel feel safe and loved during their your absence.
For some house sits, I have agreed to extra tasks on a stay-by-stay basis. For example, during one stay, I was asked to pick up medications for the client, and take their dog to the vet. I've also agreed to some light yard duty during a previous stay, as the client was elderly and simply asked if I was willing to help. Which of course I am happy to assist with some extra tasks during my stay as I have a background in yard and home maintenance. If you have an extra task that you need help with, feel free to inquire about it and I'll see if I can assist you during my stay!
Hi! I'm Moe, and Ive been watching pets and house sitting for just over 5 years now. Ive done everything from just plain house sitting, to watching multiple cats, dogs and even birds at the same time! I decided to officially turn this into a part-time job, with the goal of eventually fully filling my schedure, and doing it permanently. I'm currently doing in-home care through the state of WA part time. So caring for your furry friends is naturally right down my isle! I have a few repeat customers that contact me a few times a year when they go out of town. Their pets recognize me and are always excited when I show up! When I'm not caring for people or pets, I love cooking, building things, video games, thrift hunting for fun treasures and fishing. I also like self sufficiency lifestyle and would love to own a few acres of my own land within the next 5 years. I grew up with lots of pets in the house. I have a special affinity for cats myself, but I also love dogs and birds too!
I believe pets are happiest in their own home environment, which is why my services focus on comfort, safety, and lots of attention at their own home.
